Meet Dr. Steve Bruce, Specialist Pain Management Physician
Dr Bruce graduated with his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery, Bachelor of Obstetrics (MB BCh BAO) from Queen’s University, Belfast in July 2007. He moved from Belfast to the Hunter Region in 2010 and began training in anaesthesia in 2012.
In February 2017, Dr Bruce was awarded with his Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists, and was awarded his Postgraduate Certificate in Regional Anaesthesia by the University of East Anglia in April 2020. In November 2021, Dr Bruce passed his fellowship exam with the ANZCA Faculty of Pain Medicine. He is also seeing patients at Hunter Integrated Pain Service at the John Hunter Hospital.
Dr Bruce has been caring for patients of the Central Coast, Newcastle and Hunter Regions since January 2010. Prior to training in anaesthesia he was a senior resident in critical care medicine. Dr Bruce has found his passion for helping patients in chronic pain and looks forward to helping you achieve your goals.
Dr Bruce is an independent provider (ABN. 64 324 060 295) and sees patients in Charlestown.
